Protected post disclosure via unrestricted feed shortcode
Published Mar 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information exposure in WP-Recall 16.26.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to read private, draft, or password-protected posts. The feed shortcode selects posts without enforcing their status and password visibility restrictions, causing nonpublic posts to enter its output. Published records conflict on the access gate: the description says unauthenticated, while Wordfence's CVSS assessment requires low privileges.
