Unauthenticated draft-title disclosure via unrestricted AJAX search
Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026
Information exposure in Averta Phlox Core Elements 2.17.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to read draft post titles via AJAX search. The auxels_ajax_search handler fails to restrict included posts by publication status, so its response returns titles for drafts alongside public content. No authentication or user interaction is required; the disclosed impact is limited to unpublished post titles, not draft bodies or content modification.
