Authenticated page-content manipulation via stored profile HTML
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Stored HTML injection in Wholesale Inventory Control and Inventory Management System 20250320 allows remote authenticated users to alter displayed pages. The edit_profile handler stores first_name and last_name values after an incomplete blacklist removes script tags and common event handlers but leaves standard HTML tags, which browsers later render wherever a user name appears. An authenticated account can plant links or formatted content for other users to see; a victim must click an injected link for the demonstrated phishing redirect.
