Phishing-link injection via incomplete profile-field blacklist
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Stored HTML injection in Bdtask SalesERP 20250728 allows remote authenticated users to plant phishing links through profile names. The /edit_profile handler applies an incomplete blacklist to first_name and last_name, stores surviving HTML tags, and renders them as markup. A low-privileged account must save a crafted profile value; displayed names can then present deceptive links or alter page content, but the published proof does not execute scripts.
