Unauthenticated stored XSS via unvalidated SVG uploads
Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Stored XSS in Flothemes Flo Forms 1.0.43 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script when an administrator views an uploaded SVG. The unauthenticated flo_form_submit AJAX handler accepts SVG uploads without validating or neutralizing embedded JavaScript content. Exploitation requires an administrator to view the stored SVG in the WordPress admin interface, where script runs in that session and can alter the site.
