Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unverified AJAX input
Published Jul 22, 2026 · Updated Jul 22, 2026
Code injection in SevenSpark DTX 5.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes via AJAX. Its front-end AJAX handler passes an attacker-controlled dynamic-value string to do_shortcode without nonce verification or a shortcode allowlist. The resulting access depends on the shortcodes registered by WordPress and installed plugins and can include disclosure or modification of site data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
