Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in AuthorSure 2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts through forged settings updates. The authorsure administration page processes forged settings changes without valid nonce verification, allowing attacker-controlled script content to be stored. Exploitation requires a site administrator to act on the forged request; the stored script then executes in browsers that render the modified content.
