Code execution via unneutralized exported CSV formulas
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSV injection in Simple User Import Export 1.1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place formulas in exported user data. The Import/export users function writes user-controlled field values into CSV cells without neutralizing formula-leading characters. Administrator-level access is required to seed the data, and code executes only when a recipient opens the export in a spreadsheet configuration that evaluates it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
