CVE-2025-13130Public exploit

SYSTEM code execution via writable service binary

Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025

Incorrect default permissions in the Radarr 5.28.0.10274 Windows service allow local users to gain SYSTEM code execution. Radarr.Console.exe under C:\ProgramData\Radarr\bin grants Modify or write access to the built-in Users group, allowing replacement of the service binary. When the service runs as LocalSystem, a restart or reboot executes the replacement with SYSTEM privileges; that service-account configuration is required.
