Authenticated disclosure and resource exhaustion via entity resolution
Published Feb 2, 2026 · Updated Feb 2, 2026
XXE in IBM Business Automation Workflow 24.0.0, 24.0.1, and 25.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose sensitive data. The XML-processing path resolves attacker-supplied external entities, while IBM does not identify the parser, endpoint, or input field. A low-privileged network user can trigger external-resource resolution to read sensitive information or exhaust memory and interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
