Administrator-context script execution via unescaped utm_source
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in HandL UTM Grabber / Tracker before 2.8.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The utm_source shortcode outputs the URL's doubly encoded utm_source value without sanitization or escaping. Exploitation requires a page containing that shortcode and a high-privilege user to follow a crafted URL; the injected script runs in that user's browser.
