Contributor-level PHP execution via unvalidated shortcode path
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Local file inclusion in CSV to SortTable 4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute local PHP files via a shortcode. The shortcode handler accepts an unvalidated src attribute and passes the resulting path to file-loading functionality. Contributor-level access and an existing local PHP file are required; previewing the crafted shortcode causes that file to execute.
