Authenticated file upload via ICO validation bypass
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in ideasToCode Enable SVG, WebP, and ICO Upload 1.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write files. The ICO validation path accepts double-extension filenames when attacker-supplied content carries ICO magic bytes, bypassing filename sanitization. Author-level access is required; uploaded server-executable content can lead to code execution when the web server interprets it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
