Authenticated arbitrary file upload via main.php bypass
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in WP Royal Royal Addons for Elementor 1.7.1049 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload PHP files. The file upload validator accepts a file named main.php, allowing that PHP filename to bypass file-type sanitization. Author-level WordPress access is required; a successful upload writes attacker-controlled content to the server and can enable remote code execution.
