Authenticated database manipulation via unsanitized id parameter
Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Alumni Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via the id parameter. The manage_career.php handler places the unvalidated GET parameter directly into a SQL query, enabling boolean, error, time, and UNION-based injection. Low-privileged access is the CNA-assessed gate, and successful exploitation exposes database confidentiality and integrity.
