Authenticated file read via shortcode path traversal
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Path traversal in iWorks Simple CSV Table 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The [csv] shortcode handler concatenates its user-controlled href value to a base directory path without rejecting traversal segments before reading the result. Contributor-level access is required to submit the shortcode, and successful exploitation discloses file contents, including stored credentials and keys.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
