Unauthorized access to locked storage devices
Published Nov 7, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025
Improper resource management in Solidigm DC SSD firmware allows local or physically proximate attackers to access a locked storage device. Solidigm maps the flaw to excessive authentication attempts and Authentication Abuse but does not identify the firmware routine, resource, or exact operation that fails to limit attacker-controlled authentication activity. The CNA assessment requires high local privileges and reports confidentiality loss without integrity or availability impact, while the later vendor bulletin publishes a conflicting availability-only vector.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
