Unauthenticated mail relay via missing capability check
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Missing authorization in Laborator Kalium 3.29 and earlier allows remote attackers to send email to arbitrary addresses through WordPress. The kalium_vc_contact_form_request() function performs no capability check before directing the site to send email to an attacker-supplied recipient. No authentication or user interaction is required; abuse turns the affected site into an open mail relay, without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
