Unauthenticated data exposure via unprotected storage directories
Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Sensitive information exposure in Import WP 2.14.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to read stored import and export data without authentication. The plugin stores debug logs, session data, and export files in web-accessible locations without effective access restrictions. Any remote visitor who can request files under /importwp or /exportwp can retrieve their contents, but the flaw does not grant write access or code execution.
