Reflected XSS via cross-site request forgery
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in BulkTheme WOOEXIM 5.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through a forged import-result request. The wooexim-import-result.php endpoint reflects the custom_field_name POST value into output without adequate sanitization or escaping and performs no CSRF check. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled HTML that submits the request, after which the script runs in the affected site's browser origin.
