Administrator account creation via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in User Generator and Importer 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to create administrator accounts. The Import Using CSV File function processes a forged import request without validating a WordPress nonce, permitting attacker-controlled administrator creation. Exploitation requires a site administrator to perform the forged action, after which the new account grants administrative control.
