CVE-2025-12843Public exploit

TCC bypass via enabled Electron Node execution

Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025

Code injection in Wave Terminal 0.12.2 for macOS allows local users to bypass TCC and access protected microphone input. The packaged Electron runtime leaves ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE and --inspect behavior available, so injected Node.js launches code with Wave's entitlements. A local low-privileged user can run the Wave binary through a launch agent and record microphone audio without a new consent prompt.
