Unauthenticated email sending via unvalidated AJAX fields
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Improper input validation in Time Slot – Booking and Appointment System 1.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to send arbitrary emails. The tslot_appt_email AJAX handler accepts recipient and message fields from unauthenticated requests without validating the recipient or constraining attacker-controlled text. No account or user interaction is required; a reachable WordPress site with the plugin enabled can be abused to distribute spam or phishing content through the site's mail configuration.
