Stored XSS via unescaped Call To Action values
Published Nov 8, 2025 · Updated Nov 8, 2025
Stored XSS in aThemes Addons for Elementor 1.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Call To Action content. The Call To Action renderer accepts user-controlled widget values and writes them into page markup without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to persist JavaScript that executes in each visitor's browser when the injected page is opened.
