CVE-2025-12773

Database password disclosure via audit-log writing

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Sensitive-information exposure in Brocade SANnav before 2.4.0a allows local users with server-administrator access to read the database password. The update-reports-purge-settings.sh script writes the SANnav database password in plaintext to the local server VM's system audit logs. Only a host server administrator can read those logs; SANnav administrators and other SANnav users cannot access them through SANnav.
