OS command injection in pgAdmin 4 9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on Windows via file paths. The background-process execute() helper passes backup and restore argument arrays, including attacker-controlled paths, to Popen with shell=True on Windows. Exploitation requires high pgAdmin privileges and user interaction with backup or restore; injected commands run with the pgAdmin process account.
