CVE-2025-12750Network attack vector

Database disclosure via unprepared term query

Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025

SQL injection in Groundhogg 4.2.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data through the term parameter. The query-building code in includes/functions.php inserts the user-supplied term value into an existing SQL statement without sufficient escaping or a prepared placeholder. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and the documented consequence is database information disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
