Information exposure in Tainacan 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read private uploaded files through direct web requests. Private_Files::add_htaccess_rules protects the tainacan upload directory but leaves private x paths under tainacan-items without denial rules. No authentication or user interaction is required; a direct request to a private file path discloses its contents without permitting changes.
