Root escalation via unvalidated container identifier

OS command injection in the ABRT daemon before 2.17.7 allows local users to execute commands as root through crafted mount information. The container-data handler copies a 12-byte substring from user-controlled mount data into a docker inspect command and invokes a shell without validation. Any unprivileged user with access to ABRT's UNIX socket can inject shell metacharacters, escape systemd sandboxing, and gain full root privileges on affected hosts, including RHEL 8.
