CVE-2025-12743Network attack vector

Internal database disclosure via schemas parameter injection

Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025

SQL injection in Google Cloud Looker affected hosted and self-hosted releases allows remote authenticated users to read its internal MySQL database. The project-generation endpoint accepts an internal connection name and inserts the schemas parameter into SELECT queries, while malicious LookML tests return query results through database error messages. Developer permission and a crafted project request are required; successful exploitation discloses data held in the internal database.
