CVE-2025-12740Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via DB2 driver parameters

Published Nov 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 24, 2025

Command injection in Google Cloud Looker allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands through IBM DB2 connection parameters. Releases before 25.0.93, 25.6.84, 25.12.42, 25.14.50, or 25.16.44 inadequately filter driver parameters supplied through LookML and pass them into command execution. A Developer role and creation of an IBM DB2 connection are required; successful exploitation compromises the Looker host and its data.
