Cross-group registry data disclosure via missing authorization
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Incorrect authorization in GitLab EE allows remote authenticated users to access Virtual Registry data belonging to groups they have not joined. GitLab has not published the affected endpoint or the authorization check that accepts an out-of-group registry request. A signed-in account and unspecified user interaction are required, and the documented consequence is limited to reading registry data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=18.2 <18.7.6
- Affected versionversion=18.8 <18.8.6
