CVE-2025-12680Network attack vector

Database credential disclosure via cleartext failover logging

Published Feb 2, 2026 · Updated Feb 2, 2026

Cleartext password logging in Brocade SANnav before 2.4.0b allows remote authenticated users to read the database password. After disaster recovery failover, the standby server's SANnavDB component places the password in cleartext failover logs available directly or through supportsave. Administrative access to those artifacts and completed failover are required; the disclosed operation exposes the database credential.
