Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via unchecked logo
Published Dec 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Devsbrain Flex QR Code Generator 1.2.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload files via a logo request. The update_qr_code() AJAX handler retains the supplied filename extension and moves the logo into the WordPress uploads directory without validating its type. Authentication is not required; code execution depends on the web server executing an uploaded server-side script.
