CVE-2025-12631Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized admin settings

Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025

Stored XSS in Squirrels Auto Inventory 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through admin settings. The plugin stores admin-setting input without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without output escaping, causing the browser to execute the payload. Exploitation requires administrator-level access and affects only multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; injected scripts run when a user opens an affected page.
