Administrator-session script execution via unescaped URL parameter
Published Nov 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 24, 2025
Reflected XSS in Broken Link Manager through 0.6.5 allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser via a crafted URL. The wblm-edit-url admin page places the url query parameter into its response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open the attacker-supplied link, exposing the administrator's WordPress session to script actions.
