Account impersonation via phone-number session tokens
Published Nov 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Authentication bypass in fuint at commit 41e26be8a2c609413a0feaa69bdad33a71ae8032 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate users. ClientSignController generates a session token during account login, immediately replaces it with the user's mobile number, and stores that predictable value in Redis. Exploitation requires knowledge of the victim's phone number and a live token entry, granting access to protected client API data and actions as that user.
