CVE-2025-12613Network attack vector

Security-check bypass via unescaped signed parameters

Published Nov 10, 2025 · Updated Nov 10, 2025

Argument injection in Cloudinary Node.js SDK before 2.7.0 allows remote attackers to add unintended API parameters via ampersands. The api_sign_request path joins unescaped key-value strings with ampersands, so an ampersand inside a value becomes a new signed parameter. Exposure requires a consuming server application to pass attacker-controlled values into signed API requests; injected parameters enable security-check bypass or unauthorized changes to data and behavior.
