Stored XSS via forged content configuration requests
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Andrea Ferracani YSlider 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts via a forged request. The content configuration page accepts attacker-controlled content without nonce verification, adequate sanitization, or output escaping. An authenticated administrator must be tricked into submitting the request; the stored script then executes whenever a user opens the affected page.
