Reflected XSS via unescaped paged parameter
Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in SMS for WordPress 1.1.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a crafted paged parameter. The sms4wp_template.php template renders the paged request value without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires a user to follow an attacker-supplied link, after which the script runs in that user's browser context.
