Authenticated internal-service requests via Virtual Registry
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
SSRF in GitLab EE 18.0 through 18.6.5, 18.7 through 18.7.3, and 18.8 through 18.8.3 allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. Public GitLab material identifies the Virtual Registry as the locus but does not disclose which input or validation error permits attacker-directed destinations. Exploitation requires feature-specific permissions, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized server-originated requests to reachable internal services without reported service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=18.0 <18.6.6
- Affected versionversion=18.7 <18.7.4
