Admin takeover via unthrottled password guessing
Published Oct 31, 2025 · Updated Oct 31, 2025
Improper login-attempt restriction in LogicalDOC Community Edition 9.2.0 through 9.2.1 allows remote attackers to take over admin accounts. The /login.jsp endpoint accepts repeated password guesses without effective throttling or account lockout and exposes a success oracle through differing HTTP status codes and response lengths. No authentication or user interaction is required, but takeover depends on guessing a valid administrator password.
