Contributor-level stored XSS via unsanitized widget parameters
Published Dec 14, 2025 · Updated Dec 14, 2025
Stored XSS in WPVibes Addon Elements for Elementor 1.14.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The plugin stores multiple widget parameters without sufficient input sanitization and renders them into page output without sufficient escaping. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload; the script runs when any user opens the affected page and can act in that user's browser context.
