Unauthorized actions via generic REST nonce exposure
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
CSRF protection bypass in Brainstorm Force SureForms 1.13.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger unauthorized REST actions. The wp_ajax_nopriv_rest-nonce action gives unauthenticated callers a generic wp_rest nonce instead of a form-specific token. Exploitation is limited to REST endpoints that treat nonce verification as sufficient authorization, including affected SureForms post-submission hooks.
