Cleartext transmission in Bizerba BRAIN2 before 3.07 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept domain-user authentication data. When domain users are configured as BRAIN2 users, the Active Directory connection sends LDAP traffic without transport encryption. Exposure requires access to the network path between BRAIN2 and Active Directory; intercepted authentication data compromises confidentiality.
