Unauthenticated file upload via unchecked checkout session
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in QuadLayers Checkout Field Manager for WooCommerce 7.8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to store allowed file types. The ajax_checkout_attachment_upload handler accepts a valid checkout nonce and passes submitted files to the upload processor without confirming an authenticated user or active WooCommerce checkout session. A nonce exposed on the checkout page is sufficient, but uploads remain limited to file types allowed by WordPress, constraining the direct impact to unauthorized server content.
