Contributor-level protected-post disclosure via authorization bypass
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Missing authorization in Ninja Team WP Duplicate Page 1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view password-protected posts. The saveSettings function accepts settings-update requests without verifying the requester's capability and writes settings that control role permissions. Contributor-level access is sufficient to enable post duplication for that role, exposing password-protected post contents.
