Administrator-session script execution via unescaped themebuilder parameter
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Reflected XSS in Rometheme RTMKit 1.6.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The theme builder view renders the themebuilder request value into HTML without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link; successful code runs in that administrator's browser session and can access or alter data available to the page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
