Stored script execution via forged settings request
Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Centangle Team Showcase 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store script in plugin settings. The settings handler accepts a forged administrative request without valid nonce verification and stores the unsanitized cai_name_color value, which is later rendered without output escaping. An administrator must be logged in and induced to submit the request; subsequent visitors to an affected page execute the stored script in their browsers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
