CVE-2025-12450Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Reflected XSS via unescaped debug footer comments

Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025

Reflected XSS in LiteSpeed Cache for WordPress 7.5.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted URLs. The append_comment() method places URL-derived debug data inside an HTML comment without encoding, allowing comment termination and script injection. Debug logging must be enabled and a user must follow an attacker-controlled link; successful exploitation runs script in that user's browser context.
